Getting ready for spring

The Studioso's are getting ready for spring.



Kylee is getting ready for a great season of softball. School softball starts March 2nd and Kylee has been training hard in the off season with her select team. The Northwest Ladysharks.

Kylee is working hard in school an is very excited to start playing some games. Kylee and her friend Chelsey are going help Coach Kelci's little league team this year. I think both of the girls will get communittee service hours.



Kaysea has started her competitive season with Dance. The first competition was Starpower the begining of February. Her team did great. Out of all the routines throughout the entire weekend one of Kaysea's group routines was picked to represent the seattle area in a further competition. Very exciting. Kaysea is continuing to excell in school keeping up her GPA to a 3.93 pretty awesome.



Jaymie had to try out for the Majors team for little league softball and was selected to play at the majors level. That was pretty exciting for her. She had a great try out. Little league is starting real soon. Jaymie's dance team has also started competing. Her team did great at starpower. They took second place in there catagory for there lyrical routine. The Jazz routine was good but could be better. I am excited to see them in the next competition. Jaymie also competes hip hop and they were fabulous as well. Jaymie auditioned for the talent show at school and made it, so she will be performing her jazz routine. It is really cute.



John is playing alot of hockey and he loves it. The all-star team went to Canada over presidents day weekend. John went with just him an his dad. They had a great time. The kids played 4 games in 2 days. They only won 1 game but they played hard and had fun. John's cousin Brendan was also in Canada for a fun filled weekend of hockey. Jay and John got to attend one of his games. John and Brendan both thought that was cool. John is also going to be playing Little league baseball. He will be in the super 9's division. I believe he is going to play spring hockey as well....



Kelci is so excited for little league to start. She will be playing with softballs this year not t-balls. She is so ready. Kelci is also swimming at Harbor Square on Wednesday night with the little Baracuda's swim team. She loves swimming.... Kelci as also enjoyed selling girl scout cookies this year. She will be doing her first site sales on Friday February 27th. Super exciting....

Kelci and some of her friends tried out for the talent show at school and they made it in. The girls practiced and looked great at the auditions. Kelci is very excited to be in the show.



Well I think that is all for now. I a keeping busy updated the calendar for all of the kids events. The girls have two dance competitions in the month of March one local and the other in Vancouver Washington, Kylee will start playing some softball games John and kelci are both finishing up basketball season and Hockey season. SO they both have team parties for both sports. Super busy.....but lots of fun....

The life of the Studioso's.


We are a very busy family but busy in a good way. All of the kids are growing up so fast. Kylee is a Sophmore this year. She is working very hard training for softball. Her goal is to attend a division 1 school to play ball. Kylee has traveled a bit with her softball team for some college exposure. Our family loves to watch softball. Kylee also enjoys playing Volleyball and has good grades in school.


Kaysea is in 8th grade this year and her world revolves around dance. Kaysea eats, sleeps and breathes dance. Kaysea is also very involved in school. She is in the school band and is the current ASB Treasurer. Kaysea also enjoys playing soccer and swimming, she was on the Yost swim team last summer and had a great time. This year Kaysea's dance team will attend a national competition in Vegas this summer. Throughout the year her team will compete in 4 local competitions.


Jaymie is in 5th grade this year. Jaymie also loves to dance. Jaymie is on a competition dance team that will compete in 5 local competitions throughout the year. Jaymie loves hip hip. In general Jaymie loves to be on stage. Jaymie also enjoys playing soccer, and softball. Jaymie will be playing softball for Little league only this year. Last year she played on a select team and it was very conflicting with the dance schedule. Jaymie's favorite thing about school is her friends. She is very social.


John is a 3rd grader. His passion is HOCKEY. He loves it. John also loves to play basketball, soccer and baseball. He seems to be very skilled at all of these sports. We love to watch him play. John has a motorcycle and also loves to play on his skateboard. John was selected to play on the All-Star team for hockey this year. He has had the opportunity to travel for tournaments which have been alot of fun for him. John also enjoys school and seems to be learning alot this years.


Kelci is the youngest in our family. She is in 1st grade this year. Kelci is a great kids that loves to talk alot and loves to do crafty stuff that is messy. Kelci has had the opportunity to watch her older siblings in many sports and now it is her turn. Kelci i s trying everything. She is currently playing Hockey, basketball and taking dance classes. She is very excited about the up coming softball season. She wants to be a pitcher like her older sister.. Kelci also played soccer in the fall and is in Daisy's thru the Girls Scouts of America. Kelci loves school. She is a very social kiddo. Kelci was also loves swimming. She was on the Yost swim team last summer and loved it.


Well that is what the Studioso family is about. Jay and I love to watch our kids excell and it is great to watch them grow up with great confidence and great self esteem....Some people think we are crazy with all of the running around we do, but I would not change it for the world. When our family is home the new thing is the WII. The kids got one for Christmas and they love it. I enjoy it as well. It is a great family thing...
